Positions:
Senior Operations Analyst
This position is in support of the Cargo Helicopters Project Management Office (PMO) located at Huntsville, AL. Requirements include assisting/coordinating communications across the PMO and with external project stakeholders. Acts as initial Project Manager (PM) point of contact for all shared products (briefings, reporting, etc.). Ensures staffing of task deliverables throughout the organization to assist in managing PM/Deputy Project Manager (DPM) and AcqOps Director workload. Coordinates with the Cargo Helicopters team for prompt analyses/timely completion of taskers, as well as the submission of PM approved responses to RFIs and staffing requests. Coordinates with Acquisition Operations (AcqOps) personnel to execute a wide variety of functions managed by the office, to include event planning/support, human resource management support, and administrative services. Provides advice to the PM and other managers on alternatives to streamline operations and achieve organizational goals and initiatives. Coordinates suspense actions that affect the organization as a whole or represent a major segment of a program critical to the organization’s ability to manage its mission. Leads special ad hoc management initiatives concerned with identifying existing and needed changes in organizational structures, missions, functions, workload, resources, and transition planning. Develops and articulates the Command’s operational requirements, prioritizing those requirements, and orchestrating support for those requirements. Proposes resolutions when analysis exposes possible issues. Focuses on horizontal and vertical connectivity and communication when orchestrating tasks to ensure critical actions are properly handled within prescribed timelines and taking into consideration identified mission and operational requirements. Translates strategic concepts and vision into operational objectives and tasks to posture the PM for success in executing future operations requirements and activities. Possesses US Army Operations experience (supporting senior leaders and possessing experience in the ETMS2 or similar tasking system to issue, manage and respond to U.S. Army and Department of Defense tasks. Demonstrates experience in Microsoft Products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Teams.
